Lilly V. Leger

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at Kaplan Baptist Church honoring the life of Lilly Vincent Leger, 81, who died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at the Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Elias Ed Baldwin, Reverend Dore Langley and Dr. Jeff Cook officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Vernis J. Leger of Indian Bayou; one daughter, Monica Meaux and her husband, Karl of Kaplan; one granddaughter, Shaina Meaux; and three sisters, Verna David, Joyce Kite, and Lena Hebert, all of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her son, Vince Leger; and parents, Ignace Vincent and the former Seda LeBlanc.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m.; Friday, May 4, 2012 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
