Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at a 2:30 p,m.. Mass of Christian Burial in Sl James Church in Esther honoring the life of Esther Broussard White, 87, who died September 24, 2007 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Sl James Mausoleum with Father Mathew Mullamangalam officiating the services. Esther was a loving mother and grandmother, She loved to sing and talking with people. She was a hard working woman. Everyone knew her as "Ma Ma". She is survived by one son, Danny White and his wife Gloria of Pineville; two daughters, Ethel Rae Cessac and her husband Charles of Intracoastal and Evy L. Whatley and her husband James of Esther; five grandchildren, Lucas Cessac, Justin Cessac, Tracie Whatley, Amy White and Brett White; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mancle White; parents, Calise Broussard and Dora Dorche Broussard; and one grandson, Chuck Cessac. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Tuesday, September 25th from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, September 26th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
