Marie Olite Miller

August 31, 1936 — May 15, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Marie Olite Miller, 75, who died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at her home. She will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond Miller and his fiancee, Candice Atchison of Eunice, Russel Miller of Forked Island, Randall Miller and his wife, Chasity of Forked Island, and Richard Miller and his wife, Cecilia of Kaplan; two daughters, Barbara M. Suire and Deanna Suire, both of Forked Island; one brother, Clodias Suire Jr. of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Abigail Miller, Victoria Ozak, Bernadette Suire, Cherise LeJeune, Tyler Suire, Randon Miller, Kesiha Dartez, and Dakota Dartez; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sevan Miller; parents, Clodias Suire Sr. and the former Evia Hargrave; two brothers, Alpha and Joseph Suire; one sister, Doll Suire; great grandson, Avery LeJeune; and her son-in-law, Clyde Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
