Betty J. Suire

Mrs. Suire was born February 13, 1938 in Abbeville and was a 1955 graduate of Abbeville High School. She was a member of the Catholic faith and has lived in Topsy since 1986. She loved to crochet and will be missed dearly by all who loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Suire of Topsy, LA; two sons, Keith Suire and Kevin Suire, both of Topsy, LA; one grandson, Keith Joseph Suire of Deer Park, TX; two great grandchildren, Nathan John Suire and Alex Jay Suire of Arkansas; and one sister, Diana Gail Guidry and husband, Patrick of Abbeville, LA.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Janell Touchet; and parents, Francis and Edia St. Amant.
The family would like to express a special word of thanks to Dr. Kohler and his staff for the excellent care given. Also, a word of thanks to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital 2nd floor and 8th floor staff, especially Becky Johnson, also, Kathy Ardoin and family, Monica Mouton and family, Kristi Miller, and the many others who were dear to her heart.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
