Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Elaine Decuire Quebodeaux, 67, who died Monday, May 21, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, James Quebodeaux; two sons, Michael Scott Mire and Gerald Wayne Mire and his wife, Monica; daughter, Monica Mire Hebert and her husband, Carl; mother, Gurthel Vincent Decuire; two brothers, Lawrence Decuire and Allen Decuire; two sisters, Deloris Cabrol and Cheryl Broussard; grandchildren, Amber, Cody, Lucus, Dustin and Hannah; step children, Brannon Quebodeaux and his wife, Michelle, and Pamela Quebodeaux; step grandchildren, Alexis, Taylor, Trey and Katelyn.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ollen Decuire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at noon on Thursday.
