Cole Derek Lemaire

Kaplan—Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Cole Derek Lemaire, 28, who died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Reverend David Broussard will be officiating the services.

Cole was a loving son, brother, and friend. A 2002 graduate of Kaplan High
School, he was also an avid hunter.

He is survived by his parents, Floyd "Bojo" and Barbara Lemaire of Kaplan; his brother, Dr. Chad Lemaire and his wife, Amanda Herpin Lemaire of Houston, Texas; and his maternal grandparents, Melvin "Kie" and Gladys Leblanc of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Tiffany Lemaire; his paternal grandparents, Sevegnier Lemaire and the former Celina Vidalier; and his godfather, Doris Lemaire.

The Lemaire family would like to express gratitude to all the people who have shown support and helped with care over the years, including his caregivers and doctors, Advantage Nursing Services, AAA Home Health, and the LGMC ICU for handling his last days with such compassion.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 9 a.m. until services.
