Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Kim Morvant, 59, who died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Morvant and his wife, Josette of Kaplan and Jacobi Morvant of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Gage and Ridge Morvant; two brothers, Berney Morvant and his wife, Linda of Milton and Troy Morvant and his wife, Alicia of Kaplan; one godchild, Troyann Morvant; one niece, Paige Morvant; and one nephew, Brett Morvant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezidor and Lily Mae Morvant; and his stepson, Joshua Breaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m.; Monday, June 2, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
