Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at a 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Pete Johnson, 23, who died Sunday, July 1, 2012. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Ted Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by his parents, Darrin and Toni Johnson; his sister, Brittany Johnson; his brother, Justin Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Sam and Diane Broussard; his paternal grandmother, Mary Johnson; his aunts and uncles, Craig and Mickey Hargrave, Tammy and Don Fontaine, Benny and Brian Roche and his godfather, Fr. Ted Broussard; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Johnson; and his uncle, Russ Johnson.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for church.
