Bernice "Tedo" Suire Vidrine

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael Hargrave, Gene Lormand, Randal DuBois, Kenny Lormand, Chad DuBois and Kristin Lormand. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Hargrave and Nathan DuBois.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Hargrave and her husband, Raymond of Abbeville, and Martha DuBois and her husband, Dallas of Abbeville; sons, Eugene Lormand of Meaux and Arthur Lormand and his wife, Beverly of Abbeville; step daughter, Mary Ann Broussard and her husband, Lurcey; step daughter-in-law, Renola Vidrine and Gloria Vidrine; fourteen grandchildren, Randal DuBois and his wife, Stephanie of Abbeville, Darla Foley and her husband, Robert of Mandeville, Nathan DuBois and his wife, Tanya of Abbeville, Chad DuBois and his wife, Kristi of Goode, Virginia, Erin Boudreaux of Meaux, Gene Lormand and partner, Andre' Hebert of Abbeville, Michael Hargrave and his wife, Cleomary of Abbeville, Mark Hargrave and his wife, Alejandra of Lafayette, Paula Hargrave and partner, Cristina Choate of Abbeville, Patrina Hargrave and partner, Sherin Forrestier of Abbeville, Kenny Lormand and partner, Daphne Olvera of Meaux, Laurie Frederick and husband, Jude of Abbeville, Kristin Lormand and wife, Angel of Abbeville and Amanda Lormand of Abbeville; seventeen great grandchildren, Kristen DuBois, Seth DuBois, Janna McIntyre, Madeline Foley, Ethan DuBois, Evan DuBois, Eli DuBois, Laurel DuBois, Mackenzie DuBois, Camden DuBois, Emily Lormand, Emma Lormand, Jordan Frederick, Austin Frederick, Kylie Lormand, Kaden Lormand and Sayge Lormand; six step grandchildren, Donna Broussard and her partner, Ray Payne, Larry Broussard and his wife, Cheryl, Wayne Vidrine and partner, Mary Ann, Maylinda Breaux and husband, Ricky, Lonnie Vidrine and his wife, Carol and Sandra Landry and her husband, Danny; eleven step great grandchildren; four step great great grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Vidrine, Sr.; parents, Paul Suire and the former Lucille Romero; step son, Francis Lormand; and sisters, Mabel Breaux,Irene Triola and Beatrice Vincent; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Lormand; grandson-in-law, Paul Boudreaux; step sons, Paul Ellis Vidrine and Jessie Vidrine, Jr.; and father of her children, Phillip Lormand.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, July 4, 2012, from 8 a.m. until time of services.
In lieu for flowers, memorials contributions can be made in Bernice Suire Vidrine’s memory to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70503-3240.
