Wilfred J. "T-Boy" Gaspard

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Wilfred J. Gaspard, 81, who died Friday, July 6, 2012 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Blaine Clement officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eurna T. Gaspard of Kaplan; three sons, Larry Lee Gaspard and his wife, Kay of Kaplan, Gaulman J. Gaspard and his wife, Paulette of Kaplan, and Allen Dale Gaspard and his wife, Paulette of Bunkie; five daughters, Barbara Gail and her husband, Charles Romero of Erath, Patricia Schouest of Abbeville, Brenda Marie and her husband, Stewart Broussard of Delcambre, Rox Annie Pommier of Carencro, and Jackie Lanie and her husband, Lee Del LeMaire of New Iberia; two sisters, Mary Gaspard of Kaplan and Rena Bourque of Groves, Texas; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Romaire Gaspard and the former Orella LeMaire; one son, Marcus Paul Gaspard; and half brother, Herbert Landry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, July 9, 2012 from 8 a.m. until services.
