Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Paul Warren Trahan, 81, who died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Fr. Glenn Meaux will officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Thelma Landry Trahan of Lafayette; son, Eric Steven Trahan and partner Daryl Lane Boyd of Lake Charles; daughter, Susan Dianne Potter of Iowa; three grandchildren, Jason Paul Potter, Tanya Nicole Potter and Daniel James Potter; three great grandchildren, Gabrielle Leigh, Gage Logan and Caliegh Nicole; siblings, JoAnn Meador, Ruby Stratton, Mildred Trahan, Jane Chassion, Fred Trahan, Joseph "Junior" Trahan, William Trahan and Richard Trahan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Doris Trahan and the former Delia Gay; siblings, Ruth Smith, Walter Trahan, John Edward Trahan, Lee Trahan and Releigh Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
