Abbeville— A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Dwayne P. Duhon, 52, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on August 15, 2012 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Abbeville, LA. Visitation will be held at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, LA on August 15, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services, with a rosary to be prayed at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the services at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Abbeville, LA.

Born on April 25th, 1960, Dwayne was a native of Vermilion Parish. He was a proud Alumni of LSU and his other accomplishments include membership in Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity while attending school there. Dwayne also enjoyed watching LSU sports. He was a cultured and intelligent man who enjoyed learning, drawing, and listening to music and will be deeply missed by his family.

He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Pallbearers will be Damien Duhon, Denry Duhon, Danny Duhon, Dallas Duhon, Lacey Duhon, and Jesse Morales III. Readings will be given by Ashley Duhon and Valerie Duhon and gift bearers will be Amy Duhon and Alana Duhon.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald Duhon of Meaux and Virley Duhon of Kaplan; his children, Damien Duhon and wife Valerie of Cypress, TX, Leah Duhon of Youngsville, and Courtney Duhon of Maurice; one grandchild, Grayson Duhon; brothers Denry Duhon, Danny Duhon, and Dallas Duhon; and four nieces.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dallas and Velma Duhon and Otis Bodin and Inez Bodin.
