Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Dana Vincent Trahan, 40, who died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Kendal Faulk and Reverend Clint Trahan officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Kevin Trahan; two sons, Cale Thomas and Nate Christopher Trahan; two daughters, Alexandra Clare and Sara-Kate Elizabeth Trahan; her parents, Dale and Velma "Teeta" S. Vincent, all of Kaplan; two sisters, Rachael V. Lormand of Kaplan and Mary Ellen Vincent of Lafayette; three godchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dennis and Velma Simon; and paternal grandparents, Willis and Mabel Vincent.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
