Nissa Jane Touchet

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Catholic Church in Henry, Louisiana honoring the life of Nissa Jane Touchet, 32, who died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her father, Edward Joseph Touchet of Abbeville; mother, Janice Rose Frederick Touchet of Abbeville; brother, Hampton Touchet and wife Jodie of Erath; sisters, Kelly Touchet of Lafayette, Ann Marteau and husband Olivier of Cleveland, Ohio and Tania Touchet of Erath; maternal grandmother, Emma Jane Frederick of Lafayette; nephews and godchildren, Devin Touchet, David Touchet; nephew, Bailey Touchet; nieces, Briana Touchet and Maya Touchet and a great niece, Aaliyah Touchet.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, U.J. Frederick; paternal grandfather, Roy Touchet and paternal grandmother, Anna Leblanc Touchet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, August 28, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
