Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Francis Charles Miller, 95, who died Monday, August 27, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

He is survived by his brother, Vernon Miller of Lafayette; nieces, Phyllis M. Taylor, Odile L. Segrest and Judith M. Falcon; nephews, William H. Miller, Jr., Byron A. LeBlanc and John O. Miller; and a host of great nieces and nephews along with great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean Baptiste Miller and the former Odile Crouchet; three brothers, John Miller, William H. Miller, Sr. and James B. Miller, Sr.; five sisters, Annie Von Miller, Mabel M. Caldwell, Audrey M. Summers, Rachel M. LeBlanc and Winniefred Miller; and nephew, James B. Miller, Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
