Funeral
services will be held Monday,
October 29, 2007 at an 11 :00
a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in
St. Mary Magdalen Catholic
Church honoring the life of Marie
"Lou" Prince Hebert, 97, who
died October 26, 2007 at her
residence.
She will be laid to rest at St.
Mary Magdalen Mausoleum with
Father Greg Chauvin officiating
the services.
Lou was a long time resident
of Abbeville who moved to
Lafayette to be near family. She
was a parishioner of St. Mary
Magdalen Catholic Church
Parish.
She is survived by two
daughters, Judy Duhon and
husband Claude of Lafayette and
Marilyn Theriot and husband
Kenneth of Morgan City; one
sister, Lokey Eldridge of
Loreauville; seven grandchildren;
and seventeen great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Alphe Hebert;
parents, Octave Prince and the
former Laure Broussard; five
brothers; and three sisters.
The family would like to
extend a heartfelt thank you to
Hospice of Acadiana who offered
comfort, care and guidance to
their mother and to Mary, Sandy,
Clarissa and Clara who helped
each day with their mothers
needs.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at St.
Mary Magdalan Catholic Church,
300 Pere Megret Street,
Abbeville, Monday, October 29th from 9:30 a.m. until time of
service.
