Early G. Hargrave

September 23, 1916 — September 2, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Early Hargrave, 95, who died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Opelousas General Health System. She will be laid to rest at Greene Cemetery with Reverend D. Blaine Clement officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Floyd Hargrave and his wife, Loretta of Boutte; three grandchildren, Denise Dempsey, Celeste and her husband, Mike Ford, and Scott Hargrave, all of Boutte; two great grandchildren, Ryan and Mikey Ford of Boutte; and one brother, Raywood Guidry of Belle Chasse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Presley Hargrave; parents, Deussard Guidry and the former Modest Leonard; three brothers, Raymond, Dudley and Farol Guidry; and two sisters, Olivia Harrington and Rose Saltzman.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. until services, with a rosary being prayed at 12 p.m.
