Frederick Wade Don Parsons

Abbeville, LA—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Frederick "Rick" Wade Don Parsons, III, 58, who died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah L. Parsons; two daughters, Jennifer Clausen and husband Harold Richard “Rich” Clausen and Alexis Parsons; mother, Barbara Hutchinson Hughes and her husband Richard "Rick" Hughes; three brothers, David Michael Parsons Hughes, Craig Shawn Parsons and wife Michelle and Greg Scott Parsons and wife Melanie; and four grandchildren, Harold "Alec" Clausen, Frederick "Gabe" Clausen, Richard "Graham" Clausen and Parsons "Ashton" Clausen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Wade Don “Sunny” Parsons, II; Paternal Grandparents, Frederick Wade Don Parsons and Marion G. Parsons; Maternal Grandparents, Ernest S. Hutchinson and Oline Hutchinson.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 22, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers the Parsons family ask that donations be made to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation 909 N. Washington Street, Suite 400 Alexandria, VA 22314.
