A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Donald Paul Hebert, 56, of Abbeville who died November 17, 2007 at his residence. He will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William Blanda officiating the services. Donald was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag racing, riding motor cycles and four wheelers. He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, Acadiana Riders and the American Legion Riders. He worked for Aluminum Stainless as a truck driver for 17 years and Pierce Aluminum for 13 years. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Leotaud Hebert; son, Kelly Hebert and his wife Dana of Youngsville; brother, Ronald Hebert and wife Darlene of Abbeville; three sisters, Vanessa Knight and husband William of Erath, Lisa Knight and husband Wayne of Sulphur and Rose Mary Babineaux and husband Russell of Abbeville; and a granddaughter, Ella Hebert. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hebert. The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, November 18th, from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, November 19th, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
