Myrtis Faulk Marceaux

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Myrtis Faulk Marceaux, 79, who died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Marceaux Cemetery with Reverend D. Blaine Clement officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Kendall Schexnider of Erath; two stepsons, Mike Marceaux of St. Martinville and Ricky Marceaux and his wife, Jackie of Crowley; one daughter, Charleen and her husband, Patrick LeMaire of Carencro; four stepdaughters, Linda Marceaux of Kaplan, Betty Desormeaux of Abbeville, Delores Verrett of Kaplan, and Peggy Monceaux of Iota; one sister, Louella and her husband, Aaron Landry of Judice; four grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Marceaux; one brother, Shelton Faulk; parents, Rudolph Faulk and the former Alta Hebert; and one nephew, Bert Faulk.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, September 26, from 8 a.m. until services.
