Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Vincent Funeral Home Chapel, honoring the life of Nedean M. Hebert, 62, who died at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Hospital, Saturday, November 24, 2007. Following the services, burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Greg Chauvin officiating. Survivors include her husband of over 44 years, Jim Hebert, Abbeville; 3 sons, James N. Hebert, Jr. and his wife, Susan, Abbeville; Troy Hebert and Jody Hebert both of Abbeville; 1 daughter, Charolette H. Touchet and her husband, Kent, Kaplan; 2 brothers, Ira Morvant and Edward J. Morvant, both of New Iberia; 2 sisters, Jenores M. Lohr, New Iberia; and Verona M. Morrison, Caldwell, TX.; 5 grandchildren, Cody Miller, Tyler Hebert, Devyn Touchet and Trey Hebert, and Eric Touchet, 2 step-grandchildren, Amber T. Kelly and Blake Touchet and 1 great grandchild, Noble Kelly. Nedean was preceded in death by her father, Clifford J. Morvant, her mother, Annie Theriot Morvant, an infant child, and 2 brothers, Castle and Travis Morvant. Honored to serve as pall bearers are, Jim Hebert, Jr., Troy Hebert, Jody Hebert, Floyd Landry, Kent Touchet and Cody Miller. Honorary pall bearers will be Louis Hernandez, Bryan Lohr, Blake Touchet, Tommy Ferguson, Jeremy Ferguson, Allen Hebert and Ray Comeaux. Mrs. Hebert was a loving and generous mother, grandmother, wife and homemaker. She was an avid fan of Loretta Lynn and enjoyed tending her flowers in her garden. Nedean, along with her husband, Jim, were the owners of Jim’s Tire Service. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007 from 3:00PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM, Sunday.
