Mass of Christian Burial in St.Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Ola Mae Istre, 70, who died November 30, 2007 at Iberia General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery.Ola was the owner and operator of Ola's Lounge in New Iberia. Prior to that she was a L.P.N. at Iberia General Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards with friends especially cadillac and bouree.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy Boudreaux of Abbeville; three granddaughters, Mandy Boudreaux of Abbeville, Jaime Boudreaux and husband Brad Dowden of Broussard and Lindsay Boudreaux of Abbeville; one brother, Claude "CJ" Istre of Abbeville; numerous nieces; and nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney A. Istre and the former Lilly Hardy; and a daughter-in-law, Lizabeth Boudreaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Sunday, December 2nd from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, December 3rd from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
