Gladys Bourque Bienvenue

August 15, 1919 — September 30, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church honoring the life of Gladys Bourque Bienvenue, 93, who died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Eastridge Nursing Center.

She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Steven Rathjen, David Delino, Chad Romero II and Hank Bienvenue.

She is survived by two sons,Donald Bienvenue of Houston, TX and Paul S. Bienvenue of Lake Charles, LA; two daughters, Carrie B. Stotts of Parks, LA and Glenda Bienvenue of Erath, LA; brother, Peterman Bourque of Abbeville,LA; sister, Marie Bourque of Bridge City, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doris Bienvenue; father, Philogene Bourque; mother Clomire Romero Bourque; three brothers, Alton, Harris and Ivy Bourque; one sister, Agnes Bourque Foreman.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. untill 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:30 p.m. reopen 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 until time of service.
