Floyd “Bubba” George Fleming Ii

January 23, 1962 — December 22, 2007

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Floyd “Bubba” George Fleming II, 45, who died December 22, 2007 at a Abbeville nursing home. His cremated remains will be laid to rest in St. Mary Cemetery with Father Floyd Calais officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Touchet Fleming of Abbeville; three sons, Jacob Fleming, Thomas Bailey and Kevin Bailey and wife Sarah all of Abbeville; his father, Floyd G. Fleming Sr. of Abbeville; two granddaughters, Madeline and Gabrielle Bailey both of Abbeville; a brother, John Fleming and wife Jackie of Abbeville; and two sisters, Lisa Breaux and husband Bobby of Meaux and Julie Fleming of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gaynel Beauxis Fleming.
“Bubba” was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a avid hunter and fisherman, and even when he was at his worst always had the most wonderful sense of humor.
The church will open at 2:00 p.m. for a gathering of family and friends prior to the service.
