Hugh Thomas Watkins

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at New Life Church honoring the life of Hugh Thomas Watkins, 45, who died Monday, October 29, 2012 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor Lane Payne and Pastor Ronald Watkins officiating the services.
Hugh enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia.
He was a very loving husband, father, brother, and son.
Hugh was dedicated and loved his country and he took great pride in serving 10 years for his country.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Castille Watkins; daughter, Shantelle Watkins; son, Brodie Duhon; mother, Joy McClanhan and her husband David; three brothers, Robert Watkins, Ronald Watkins and Kyle Watkins; two step sons, Corey Castille and Jacob Peltier; and two grandchildren, Gabby Duhon and Christian Duhon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby F. Watkins.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Thursday November 1, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. at New Life Church, 1109 N. John M. Hardy Dr., Abbeville, LA. until time of services.
