Funeral services will be held Friday, January 04, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Mildred Louise Landry Hebert, 89, who died January 02, 2008 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Mausoleum with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Wayne "Buddy" King, Jr., Charles "Chuck" King, Jason Hebert, Brian Hebert, Tommy Ortis, Ray Rinardo, Kelly Frederick and Kenneth LeBouef. Mildred was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also was a faithful wife and a true friend. She is survived by two daughters, Elaine H. King of Houston, TX and Cindy H. Rinardo of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Julie King, Charles "Chuck" King, Wayne "Buddy" King, Brian Hebert, Belinda LeBouef, Jessica Couvillion, Jason Hebert, Tiffanie Ortis and Elizabeth Rinardo; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas D. Hebert; parents, Clesme Landry and the former Annie Marie LeBlanc; one son, Donald A. Hebert; one brother, Lloyd J. Landry; one sister, Lula Mae L. Romero and one great grandson, Barry Wayne LeBouef. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, January 3rd from noon until 10:00 p.m.; Friday, January 4th from 8:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
