Anita Duhon Guidry

August 4, 1919 — October 31, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Anita Duhon Guidry, 93, who died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Farley Painter officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Frank J. Guidry and his wife Sharon Guidry of Kaplan and Daniel Guidry and his wife Cathy of Kingsford, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Christopher R. Guidry, Leslie Guidry Barrientes, Kerri Guidry, Richard L. Guidry, Samantha Guidry, Belinda LeMaire, Joseph LeMaire, Libby LeMaire and Renee LeMaire.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Guidry; her stepdaughter, Barbara Lane LeMaire; her parents, Felix Duhon and the former Odile Mouton; seven brothers, Etney, Sidney, Ellis, Asa,Chistopher, Elix and Alison; one sister, Elzae LeBlanc; and one grandaughter, Marlene LeMaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 8 a.m. until services.
