Abbeville— Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2012 at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Annie Mae Haden Broussard, 90, who died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbearers include Todd Toups, Chad Toups, Jon Isaac Langlinais, Brian Frederick, Eric Rodriguez, Jeremy Broussard and Steven Lee. Scriptures will be read by Jennifer Langlinais Broussard, Jamie Frederick Rodriquez, and Amy Langlinais. Gift bearers were Erin Broussard, Lauren Broussard Lee, and Emily Frederick.
Mrs. Broussard was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a talented seamstress who loved sewing. Annie Mae belonged to many organizations including the St. Theresa Altar Society, Les Amis Homemakers Club where she served as a officer and past president; as well as the Vermilion Parish Homemakers Council.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Isaac Broussard of Abbeville; and her four daughters, Beverly Landry and husband, John of Abbeville; Barbara Frederick and husband, Harold of Abbeville; Jocelyn Langlinais and husband Michael of Youngsville; and Denise Orellana and her husband Gus of Abbeville; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Dewey Haden; mother, Laurence Hebert Haden; infant brother, Paul Whitney Haden; infant sister, Mary Louise Haden.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, November 4, 2012 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday November 5, 2012 from 8:00 a.m until time of services.
