Jeanette Boudoin Griffin Labiche

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Jeanette Griffin Labiche, 69, who died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend D. Blaine Clement officiating the services.

She is survived by two sons, Brandon Griffin of Fort Worth, Texas and Clayton Griffin and his wife, Rosie of St. Martinville; one daughter, Sonya Galicia and her husband, Tony of Lake Charles; three sisters, Inez Broussard of De Ridder, Helen Leblanc of Erath, and Nettie Guillory of Kaplan; and two grandchildren, Hannah Galicia and Vincent Griffin.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Griffin; her husband, Bevelin Labiche; father of her children, Robert Griffin; one sister, Juanita LeMaire; and her parents, Gladu Boudoin and the former Felicia Simon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 4 p.m. until 8 pm. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m.; Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
