Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of June Lynn Schexnaider Trahan, 67, who died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Glenray Trahan of Kaplan; two daughters, Lynette Trahan Callahan and her husband, Craig of Kaplan and Kristy Trahan Courville and her husband, Clay of Lafayette; one son, Scott Charles Trahan of Kaplan; and five grandchildren, Lauren and Morgan Callahan of Kaplan and Layne, Sydnie, and Raegan Courville, all of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolf Wilfred "Bill" Schexnaider and the former Lucille Broussard; and her brother, Ray Allen Schexnaider.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church at 12:45 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
