Mary Matthews Trahan

December 20, 1914 — November 21, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary Matthews Trahan, 97, who died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Maison du Monde Living Center. She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by one sister, Imay Leleux of Abbeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oray Trahan; three sisters, Malena Noel, Ethel M. Logan and Edith Comeaux; and four brothers, Clesmay, Claby, Clarence and Wilson Matthews.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, November 26, from 8 a.m. until 10:40 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
