ABBEVILLE- Funeral
services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at a 1 :00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church honoring the life of Francis Dennis Dartez, 72, who died January 20, 2008 at Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living.
He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Todd Granger, Frank Bourque, Kevin Bourque, Kelsie Lege, Jared Lege and Purvis Bourque.
He is survived by one daughter, Laura Granger and her husband Todd of Maurice; three grandchildren, Alex Granger, Amanda Granger and Emily Granger; and two sisters, Genevia Broussard of Kaplan and Barbara Bourque of Leroy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Lege Dartez; parents, Stanville and Amanda Primeaux Dartez; and one brother, Billy Dartez.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Monday, January 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be at 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, January 22nd from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
