Abbeville— Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of John Alden Paulson, IV, 63, who died Monday, November 26, 2012 at his residence.
Rev. Robert Wells will be officiating the services.
"Jack" enjoyed telling jokes, fishing, cooking, traveling and high school football. He was considered a "jack of all trades". He was a family man who loved his family and friends. He served as a Captain in the United States Army. Jack also won the title of champion pepper eater.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Wilcox Paulson; three sons, Guy Anthony Paulson, Norman Lee Hopkins and Curtis Eugene Hopkins all of Missouri; one daughter, Stephanie Yvonne Kays of Missouri; father, John Alden Paulson, Jr.; one sister, Gail Jarman of Missouri; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Paulson.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
