Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 11:00 a. m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Lillian Mouton Hebert 88, who died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at East Ridge nursing home .She will be laid to rest in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Greg Chauvin officiating the services.
Lillian was a lifelong member of St. Mary Magdalen Parish.
She is survived by three sons Cordell Hebert and wife Jackie of Lafayette, Judge Byron Hebert and wife Meg of Abbeville, Irby Hebert Jr. “Joey” and wife Debra of Abbeville, daughter Sheila Hebert Collins of Naples Florida, and a daughter in law Jane Ann Hebert. She is also survived by 13 grand children and 11 great grand children
She is preceded in death by her husband former Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court, Irby Hebert Sr., son Reid Hebert, grandson Reid Keith Hebert Jr.; father Cleodis Mouton and mother Odelia David Mouton; her brothers Alphonse, Joe, Alton, Whitney, David, Claude Mouton, and sister Mimia Mouton Lemaire.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home 209 South Saint Charles St. Sunday, January 27 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Monday January 28, from 8:00 am until time of service.
