Gladys Hebert Leblanc

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Gladys Hebert Leblanc, 86, who died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Mike LeBlanc and his wife Mary of Broussard; two daughters, Barbara Lemaire of Kaplan and Sharon Leblanc of Lafayette; four sisters, Yvonne Mire of Kaplan, Malores Lemaire of Kaplan, Marie Baudoin of Kaplan and Yolande Hargrave of Cow Island; four grandchildren, Chad Lemaire, Heather Fleniken, Hannah Fleniken and Jacob Leblanc; and three great grandchildren, Chloe and Colette Lemaire and Ava Fleniken.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eliar and Louisa Hebert; two sisters, Hazel Abshire and Myrtis Leblanc; and one grandson, Cole Lemaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, December 7 from 8 a.m. until services.
