Olita Primeaux Touchet

December 17, 1917 — December 7, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 10, 2012 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Olita Primeaux Touchet, 94, who died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Leo Touchet and his wife Elizabeth of Abbeville, Ronald Touchet and his wife Sandy of Baton Rouge and David Touchet and his wife Kathy of Abbeville; one daughter, Elaine T. Hurst of Lafayette; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovelace J. Touchet; father, Ursin Primeaux; mother, Agnes Frederick Primeaux; six brothers, Paul, Robert, Mines, Lucien, Lenes and Alvin Primeaux; and two sisters, Anda P. Garcia and Anna P. Foreman.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for church.
