Gale Meaux

April 25, 1952 — December 13, 2012

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 16, 2012 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Gale Meaux, 60, who died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dale Meaux of Cow Island; two sons Jerrid Meaux and his wife Opal of Kaplan, Kelly Meaux and his wife Renee of Kaplan; one daughter, Shelly Meaux of Lafayette; mother, Maude Guidry of Carencro; one sister, Charlene Cormier of Carencro; two brothers, Glenn Guidry of LaPlace, Joel Guidry of Carencro; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Guidry; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Sunday, December 16, from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
