Joseph Huey Touchet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Joseph Huey Touchet, 72, who died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at American Legion Hospital. Bishop B.K. Stevens will be officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Ida Touchet of Kaplan; two sons, Joseph Junior Touchet of Kaplan and Leon Shorty Touchet of Kaplan; four daughters, Brenda Sue Touchet of Kaplan, Debby May Touchet of Kaplan, Alice Jan Copeland of Mermentau and Sherry Lynn Heath of Kaplan; three sisters, Hazel Marie Miller of Abbeville, Elzie Overland of Mississippi and Carolyn Touchet of Kaplan; three brothers, Freddie Touchet Jr. of Kaplan, James H. Touchet of Kaplan and Kelton Touchet of Gueydan; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Touchet Sr. and Aurore Breaux Touchet; two sisters, Eva Marie Touchet and Hilda Marie Bourque; and one brother, Joseph Wilbert Touchet Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 9 a.m. until services.
