Ora Mary Choate Leblanc

September 13, 1924 — December 16, 2012

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2012 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Ora Mary Choate LeBlanc, 88, who died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Timmy Hebert, Troy Hebert, Toby Hebert, Jude Frederick, Don Frederick and Keith Choate. Honorary pallbearers will be Lenis Hebert, Luke Hebert and Joey Pere. Giftbearers will be her great granddaughters, Kristin Hebert, Keri Hebert, Kylie Hebert, Carly Hebert and Emma Grace Hebert; and the reader will be Donna Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Hebert and husband Lenis of Abbeville; grandsons, Timmy Hebert of Abbeville, Troy Hebert and wife Natalie of Abbeville and Toby Hebert and wife Dawn of Abbeville; great grandchildren, Kristin Hebert, Keri Hebert, Kylie Hebert, Carly Hebert, Luke Hebert and Emma Grace Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin J. LeBlanc; father, Ovey Joseph Choate; mother, Adelaide Trahan Choate; brothers, Oran Choate, Weston Choate, Walton Choate and Oris Choate; and sister, Marie Irene Choate.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m; Monday, December 17, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
