Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Andrew "Blanc" Guy Suire, 93, who died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Doris Buford, Kenneth Broussard, Todd Boullion, Roderick Roche, Beth Broussard, and Tammy Guidry.
He is survived by three daughters, Chantelle Dartez of Scott, Missy Domingue and husband, John of Kaplan, and Loretta Martin and husband, Clifford of Brownsville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Earl Perry, Stephen Perry, Jessica Beshires, George Perry, Jr., all of Brownsville, Tennessee, Mark Perry of Rayne, Sarah Perry of Crowley, John Michael Domingue of Kaplan, and Rebecca Kelley of Brownsville, Tennessee; nineteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lillie Suire of Kaplan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Suire and the former Amanda Clause; sisters, Rosita Dubois, Rosana Guidry, Emma Abshire, Lucille Faulk, Bernadette Mire, and Estelle LeBlanc; brothers, Paul, Ovey, Oscar, Numa, and Emery Suire; and his ex-wife, Sarah Smith Suire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 8 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
