Hilda Bertand Labry

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 24, 2012 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Hilda Labry, 92, who died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hollier, Mark Hollier, Scott Bertrand, Roy Bertrand Jr., Richard Bertrand and Walter Bertrand Jr.

She is survived by her son, Alvin Labry; brothers, Roy Bertrand and Otto Bertrand; and a sister, Elda Bertrand Neveaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stafford Labry; parents, Semar Bertrand and Lezada Trahan Bertrand; and a brother, Walter Bertrand.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 24, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for church. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m.
