Rayland P. Hebert

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 24, 2012 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. David Chapel honoring the life of Rayland P. Hebert, 67, who died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Hebert, Seth Hebert, Chad Meaux, Dax Faulk, Doug Hebert, and Roy Sherman. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Hebert and Milfred Simon.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lena Hebert of Kaplan; two sons, Clint Hebert and his wife, Daphne and Seth Hebert and his wife, Creslen; two daughters, Valerie, and her husband Chad Meaux and Angie and her husband, Dax Faulk; his mother, Irene Hebert; and two brothers, Leroy and Doug Hebert, all of Kaplan; and twelve grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Hebert; paternal grandparents, Felix Hebert and Angelle Broussard Hebert; and maternal grandparents, Avelie LeMaire and Etta Trahan LeMaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, December 24, from 8 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
