She will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Deacon Joe Hebert officiating the services. Pallbearers will be John Martin, Jr., Bill Garcia, J.J. Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia, Daniel Daigle and Todd Hebert.
She is survived by her daughter, Maureena D. Martin of Lafayette; sister-in-law, Winnie Trahan; grandchildren, John Martin and wife Monica of Scott and Yvonne Martin Garcia of Lafayette; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Garcia, Bill Garcia and wife Beth and J.J. Garcia; and great great grandchildren, Sage Garcia, Kegan Garcia and Jazzlynn Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rene Decuir; son, Lenwood James Decuir; father, Numa Trahan; mother, Olita Meaux Trahan, son-in-law, John J. Martin, Sr.; brothers, Ophey Trahan, Ulyess Trahan and wife Margret, and Joe Trahan and wife Hazel; and sister, Felicia Trahan Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, December 31, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
