Levan J. Racca

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Levan J. Racca, 87, who died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his residence in Kaplan. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hilda Boudoin Racca of Kaplan; one daughter, Peggy Simon, and her husband, Pat of Kaplan; three sons, Dale Racca and his wife, Pamela of Port Sulphur, Larry Racca and his wife, Linda of Henry, and Tommy Racca and his wife, Vivian of Port Sulphur; three sisters, Una Primeaux of Kaplan, Hazel Doucet of Kaplan, and Leah Rost of Chalmette; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Racca Jr. and the former Amenthe Baudoin; and one brother, Leroy Racca.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, January 7, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
