Abbeville— Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Kendal Adras DeRouen, 54, who died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Richard Hebert, Keith Broussard, Cobb LeBouef, Travis Mire, Eddie Pitre, Tony Frederick, Justin Hebert and Jody DeRouen.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Delahoussaye DeRouen; two sons, Chase DeRouen and Trey DeRouen; father, Curvis DeRouen; brother, Brady DeRouen; two sisters, Jenny Foreman and Karen LeBlanc; father-in-law, Rayward Frederick; and brother-in-law, Kevin Delahoussaye.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rella Mae Boutte DeRouen; and mother-in-law, Laura Frederick.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from noon until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
