Ivan Wayne "Papas" Fusilier

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ivan Wayne Fusilier, 50, who died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Pastor Jimmie Thibodeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by one son, Joseph Wayne Fusilier of Kaplan; his mother, Mary P. Touchet of Kaplan; three sisters, Janet Merritt of Abbeville, Gayle Fusilier Hebert of Kaplan, and Carolyn Fusilier; and three brothers, Gerald L. LeMaire of Abbeville, Faron Keith LeMaire of Bridge City, and Edward Fusilier; and special friend, Donna Langlinais.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Joseph "Red" Fusilier.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.; Monday, January 14, 2013 from 8 a.m. until services.
