Cecelia R. Primeaux

March 20, 1927 — January 12, 2013

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Cecelia Roche Primeaux, 85, who died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend D. Blaine Clement officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Laodis Primeaux of Kaplan; four sons, Joseph Primeaux of Marrero, Richard Primeaux and his wife, Jennifer of Broussard, Jerome Primeaux of Lake Charles, and Michael Primeaux and his wife, Laudean of Slidell; one son-in-law, Oran Luquette of Kaplan; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by both daughters, Carol Luquette and Barbara Broussard and her husband, Richard; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alexson Roche; and fourteen brothers and sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
