Myrtle Gary Broussard

September 20, 1922 — January 18, 2013

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Myrtle Gary Broussard, 90, who died Friday, January 18, 2013 at Maison du Monde Living Center.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul
Cemetery with Father Corey Campeaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Derek Duhon, Dustin Duhon, Marcus Davidson, Chris Guidry, Clayton Broussard and Duane Davidson.

Myrtle was very devoted to her family. She also had a love for sewing and cooking.

She is survived by her son, Hartwell Broussard of Abbeville; daughter, Rhonda Davidson and her husband, Duane of Abbeville; six grandchildren, Clayton Broussard, Dustin Duhon, Derek Duhon, Art Davidson, Marissa Guidry and Marcus Davidson; and five great grandchildren, Trent Broussard, Zachary Broussard, Jacob Broussard, Nicole Duhon and Peyton Sonnier.

She was preceded in death by husband, Nolan P. Broussard; parents, Ovey Gary and the former Maude Bourque; daughter, Ingrid Romero; brothers, Lloyd Gary, Floyd Gary and Hildred Gary.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, January 21, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
