Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Hubert J. Trahan, 76, who died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Vermilion Health Care Center.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Jay Bergeron officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Head Trahan; sons, Weston Trahan and wife, Shannon, Hubert Trahan Jr. and Russell Trahan; daughters, Brenda Pulido and husband, David, Faye Robinette and husband, Earl, Sharon Trahan, Joycie Leal, Milissa Carter, Denise Brignac, Shannon Trahan, Amy Trahan, and Christina Head; sisters, Pearly Trahan and Aubrey Mire; half brothers, Fred, Paul and Will; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelein Trahan and the former Amelia Leleux; son, Bryan Trahan; an infant daughter; sister, Margie Trahan; grandson, Blake Turner; granddaughter, Jennifer McBride; sister-in-law, Virginia Head; nephew, Cary Redmond; father-in-law, Dame Head; brothers-in-law, Newman Mire and Nelton Primeaux; and step mother, Josephine Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
