Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eva Hargrave, 91, who died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Evangeline Oaks Guest House. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend D. Blaine Clement officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Nelson Eddie Hargrave and his wife Martha of Delta, Ronnie James Hargrave and his wife Faye of Kaplan, Lloyd Manning Hargrave and his wife Cathy of Kaplan; two daughters, Eva Belle and her husband Murphy Stelly of Carencro, Lois and her husband Lucien Gaspard of Duson; two sisters, Mary Lynn Landry of Crowley, Lillian Hudson of St. Joseph, Kansas; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edier "Eddie" Hargrave; one son, Maylen Charles Hargrave; parents, Felician Romero and the former Theotis Primeaux; and five siblings.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, January 30, from 8 a.m. until services.
